My submission to #tapasmermaychallenge

Cer-Zay is a kind of a bard, inspired by the figure of Jeli from West Africa. She used to play the Kora, a beautiful strings instrument of complex and colored sounds. She had to break it to save some children in the comics.

It was funny to do this since my comics fantasy world has no ocean, but it is nice to translate clothing/visual style and attitude to a mermay.

Here's Ingrid as a seal mermaid! She has a prosthetic leg, so I gave her a prosthetic flipper.

I had a lot of fun with mine ^^
Since my story is set in the 20s and follows the footsteps of a hitwomen, I wanted to recall it here. So not only did I put a poor fella who's "sleeping with the fishes", but I also based Alexinas' design on a black lionfish, they're venomous.
