Are we talking about which part of the process we enjoy the most, or which aspects of the comic we like the most? Those are two different things for me.
What I enjoy DOING the most with this comic: making the panel borders. I make them look like dry brush strokes, so it takes a little more time than normal borders, but the look adds a lot IMO. And it's a process that doesn't take a lot of brain power. I can just zen out and make them brush strokes.
What I like the most about this comic: it's a story about decent to good people who care about each other, yet still hurt each other deeply -- often without meaning to/ without realizing it.
There are great stories out there about bad people hurting others, or about good people fighting each other due to belonging to opposing factions, etc. I wanted something different, a story about painful rifts between good friends/ family/ etc. that stem from actual character flaws instead of unfortunate coincidences (e.g. "she thought she saw her boyfriend kissing another girl -- but he was just whispering something").
I mean, I'm sure there are also lots of great stories about such rifts, but I just haven't seen many, personally. Definitely none done in the specific way I'm aiming for.
