@lauragarcia511 To find comfort in Tv shows, movies, and books, is to find joy in stories.
Stories make us passionate about the world the author envisioned, even if it's not a real one. They make that way for you to glimpse a possible future/present/past and so you travel along the lines in an ocean of fantasies you want to live.
Being a story lover is a special thing and I'm honored to get to know your world through your perspective.
Thanks for sharing.
@rajillustration I feel you about not getting a job anywhere and being rejected by publishers.
It makes you feel miserable about yourself, that you don't belong anywhere.
But that feeling exists for you to do something about it, as you did. You kept writing your stories even though some people wouldn't appreciate it, and that's what really matters: being proud of yourself just for trying.
Nothing prevents you from enhancing your descriptions, plots, art styles, and everything else. You can grow from failure.
Just to know you beat those barriers makes me smile. I'm glad you could share your stories with us.
@Lady_T_Musings Thank you! I'm happy to hear you have some supportive people around you!
I say you're doing great going for that path. To go against what the media shows and teaches about our bodies is truly admirable. People can feel suffocated about what they should look like and sound like just because it is advertised constantly on every magazine, Tv show, you name it.
Making characters more relatable is what feels best and I'm glad you could do this.
Thanks for sharing!
@TheDoublekey I can relate to that!
You see all those fantastic scenarios and characters, all going for an adventure together and develop feelings towards one another is simply magical. Even on the action stories. They can fight, they can discuss, argue with one another, and that's super cool.
There's something so addictive about watching a story unfold that we can't get our eyes off. I can imagine that's why we love what we do.
I'll definitely check your story out in my free time!
