Oh the color panel got me by surprise a little grammar slip up can be jarring for a native speaking reader...I think a close up on the hand of the colored panel is more approriate as the background of that panel doesnt really establish anything the previous panel hasn't already nice work dude

I know out of context the colored panel could take you by surprise but only my main character is in black and white. The previous page is an establishing shot of it all.

Anything grammar-wise you would change? Can't put the finger on it!

Howdy WednesdayAsh I read through the entirety of episode 1 of 1 for Cloverlines. I really like the ambient bubbliness of it and the colors. One thing i would watch out for though is word bubble placement, I noticed that your word bubbles cover up the faces of your characters and I want to be able to see your interesting characters you have developed!

Now that's some action! I remember seeing in your comic had a lot of DC inspiration when you posted on the inspiration mood board thread and I think it definitely comes through here (in a good way)! The woman looks bad ass and that atmosphere in the last panel sends me back to old DC comics.

Dude, @Cielle, I love how you worked all of the pleading and rambling in the background, that is so awesome! Max's gesture is so sly in the panel focusing on her lips, that is perfect -- even Rei is taken off-guard, hah^^ The muted colours of the backgrounds really help bring attention to the characters, too. Solid work!

Here's the most recent page of There's No Such Thing as Jason -- I.T., released yesterday. It was a blast being able to do the flashback scenes with Dim and Jason, my favourite! Bonus: I get to allude to the title like a total trope-y hack. ^w^
