I created this Topic for people who wanna spread the word of there Comedy / Slice Of Life Series! From any website you host your series on! I call this "Active" because it's more then a place to spread your series! It's a place to talk & share your ART pieces too!

2 Once You've finished Introducing Yourself, You can start sharing your series on a new post! Only share ONE series Once a Month! It can even be the same series next month so newer people can see the progress!

3 You can post up to 4 Images a day! It can be anything you drew! It doesn't even have to be from your series you shared! Just be mindful and respectful of everyones work! Only give critiques if someone asks for it! Or you may ask them if you can give them advice!

I'll Start Off!

Hello everyone! I'm MichaelFigComix! My favorite colors are Red & Orange! But I love all colors! I enjoy reading Comics & Manga! I love Spider Man, Superman, Transformers, DBZ, Bleach & Others! I was born May 17th 1997! And I live in a small town in North Carolina!

My Comic is a Comedy called ARTtheSeries! It's about A party of 4 oddly dysfunctional yet interesting roommates. There's never a normal moment when you're around them. Whether It's shooting some hoops, or doing chores. The ring leader of the group Glue Shooter will always find ways to mix or mess things up.

It's been up for about almost a month now!

Hello! Name's Keir but I go by Nerdicon. Favourite Colour is Orange, longstanding history with a cone emblem from Halo being the cause. Favourite books would be the Skullduggery Pleasant Series, Ready Player One and then there's Doom Patrol; Transformers; all things DC/MARVEL. I was inspired by Edd Gould and Bryan Lee O'Mally.

I've got Two series atm:

A Rough Sketch is a comic strip comedy in which I take moments from my everyday life along with any film/Videogame pop culture and makes jokes out of for entertainment. Started this way back in 2016.

And my more linear story is called SpacemanDan. It's a comedy about a simple Astronaut on holiday in space travelling in his Caravanette Shuttle "Sally-1" with his Alien companion Molly Mermaid and his Robot B3-RT or "Bert" for short.

Mine is just a slice of life comedy thing. It's about funny things that have just happened in my life that I thought people would get a kick out of. It's been up for about two years. I'm doing this on a different computer and don't have images of my comic on this one so I hope that's okay. I can get them later though!

Here is my only comedy-centric comic. It's been up for almost 2 years on Smackjeeves, but I don't talk about it much because it's a fancomic:

Three things I love about it: (1) I update 'whenever' I want, so there's no pressure to keep to a schedule
(2) It's a hell of a lot of fun to work on~ ^^
(3) It's taught me so much...about comedy in general, and about writing things that aren't 200-chapter epic sagas. I like to think that KH walked so DotPQ could run.

does dark comedy count? it doesn't look it now, because I only have one issue finished and it's more or less just an introduction, but as the story progresses you'll find that comedy is very much an ever present theme in my book. it's mostly self-unaware-comedy considering the concept itself is a joke and the circumstances are ridiculous but every character in the series takes themselves way too seriously.
