The Best and Worst Thing About Making Comics/Manga?

Hello again everyone! I've been thinking and I'd love to hear your take on these 2 questions.

1. What would you consider to be the best thing about making comics or manga?

2.What do you think is the most challenging and or difficult part about it?

1) When you notice someone actually reads it. Even better if they liked it.
2) Uploading comics on planned intervals, like weekly, or even monthly. Sometimes you just really don't have the time or will to work on it.

1. When you finish a comic. I like that feeling of accomplishment when it's finished and being able to look at it again and seeing your completed work.
2. When you're stuck for an idea or you have one and just can't quite draw it.

1. The feeling that you create something out of nothing. You built it, it's there... you learned something, you expressed something, you spent your time in a productive way... no one can take that away from you :3

If afterwards people read and like it and even let you know, that's an awesome reward of course

I sometimes have a hard time to motivate myself to start drawing... but once I start it helps me to relax... I'm always happy when I drew something.

1. I agree to arenzi here. It's so frustrating to have an idea and not being able to draw it. Accepting your limits and accepting that your drawings just won't look perfectly how you want them to... and that there is still a long long way full of practice and patience ahead of you... well that's kinda hard for me sometimes. I still have to learn to chill out and just do what I can. But I'm working on that

1] Building up and telling the story.

2] Struggling with the text editor because it wants to shrink your text box every time you try to expand it a little. It causes me great pain.

1) writing the story and art!
2) getting a response from people and letting people know that it exists DX

1.) Simply using my imagination to create a world for myself and other's to enter and enjoy a great story in a different universe!

2.) Not being able to draw at the skill I want to produce pages in the way I want to. Therefore leading to a slower output of chapters for the story to progress for the reader's benefit. Giving everyone wants the whole story right now lol.

1. When you get an idea that you just can't stop thinking about and you work to expand it and you've got this great story planned out and this intricate little world being formed in your head with all these little characters that you know you can really work with and it takes up your mind for days because you're really just having so much fun with it!
2. When Pixar comes up with the same concept as you which they plan to release as a movie a year or two later. >_< (Dammit 'Inside Out'!) And you just know that their 2 hour movie is going to be brilliant just like EVERY OTHER Pixar movie so you can't even hate it. :<

   Erm... cough... yeah... or, you know, not being able to get the concept down on paper the way you envisioned it.
