Ephemeral. Verdigris. Palimpsest.
And also 'defenestration', because it's such a ridiculously specific term.
Palimpsest does sound quite appealing (apart from it sounding like some kind of cyst to me)
Obsidian, Mortem, Octarine, Blanco, Ember, King, Arch, and the whole Greek alphabet sounds pretty cool as well.

I've always like words like petrichor, listless, ambient, anamnesis, and soliloqy but then there's words like bejumbled, whipersnapper and thingamabob that are also pleasant or funny
I love throwing in grandiloquent words now and then. In today's comic I managed to get a sarcastic rabbit to use the word 'leporine' and it makes me feel strangely happy.
