Also the belgium case sounds more like the result of ridiculous media influence. Everyone preaches avocado, kale and quinoa and shames milk, potatoes, etc etc... Basically it's all a poorly disguised media scam aimed to get people to buy this or that product because they think the things they would actually rather eat and which are actually healthy for them will KILL THEM!!!!!!1111
I was a vegetarian. I did well for a while. Learnt to eat more veggies, so I am glad I did it. Then one day it just didn't work anymore, despite me following guidelines.
I became pescatarian. Worked well for a while! Learned to eat more fish than I did when I had been a carnivore. Eventually my morals changed and I began eating meat again, but preferrably only meat that has been manufactured/bred in an animal and environment friendly way. And honestly, either this or the pescatarian diet works best for me.
I also tried the healthy bullshit. Started out with just cutting down on added sugars, cutting down on wheat and the like, and instead eating more veggies and fruit. Worked for a short time but I soon began having stomach issues.
I tried gradually adding wheat back in and consuming light products alongside it. Worked for a while. Then the stomach problems began again.
Some people love these products and have no problem with them. Some people feel better on the vegan diet, or vegetarian diet, or sugar free veggies and fruit all around diet. As for me, it appears that if I eat too much fruit and veggies I will spend my time suffering on the loo. Obviously my body was telling me something.
So yeah everyone is different. BUT. LET ADULTS FIGURE THEIR OWN WAY OUT. DON'T FORCE YOUR EXTREME DIETS ONTO CHILDREN OR ANIMALS THAT CANT SAY "NO" FOR FUCKS SAKE.
