To help mitigate the problem you can turn on the option in your Patreon account to charge people upon their initial pledge. So once they choose to support you, the amount they pledge will be charged right off the bat regardless what time of the month they do it.
Doesnt matter whether its traditional or digital- those conditions happen with any artist who is perched at their desk for long hours of the day every day. I used to spend hours at my drawing desk, drawing, lightboxing, inking...
@NickRowler I'm only half-serious about the clubbed thumbs. That was what famed Victorian palmist Cheiro maintained, but I like to think that the art has advanced a little since then. Clubbed thumbs may not necessarily indicate murderous tendencies. They could instead indicate heart disease.

@hotsubsandwich So this girl is about to marry a notorious bisexual. They make a great couple but the girl's mother is a little wary.
"Anna," she says. "I know you love him and everything, but if he ever asks you to turn over, well . . . just don't!"
"Okay Mama," the daughter says. And the wedding is a success, the honeymoon is lovely, and the first few months pass in wedded bliss.
"Does he . . . does ever ask you to turn over?" the mother asks one time. They're on the phone, the daughter is cooking spaghetti.
"Oh, no Mama," Anna says. "Everything is going just fine."
"Are . . . are you enjoying yourself?" the mother asks. And the daughter sighs over the phone line. "It couldn't be better," Anna says.
So a few days pass. Then, as the couple is going to bed, the husband rolls over and taps her on the shoulder. "Sweetheart, you want maybe to turn over tonight?"
And the girl is instantly in tears. "She warned me! She warned me about you. My mother warned me and I didn't listen!"
The man is confused.
"What's the matter? Don't you want to get pregnant?"

ok yah now what sucks, having to sleep in a freshly painted room with windows closed so the next morning you wake up with a headache that could break a fecking country in half, thanks to paint fumes, and now you are expected to give a fecking list of almost 100 companies and their telephones to a fecking social service school for the next day and an exam the same day, a Frigging English exam just so you can prove you don't need basic English classes cause you lived 3 years in USA, and to top it all of you have a movie report for the same day and math homework

I'm sick as a dog now due to stress and some idiots who never would cover their mouths...
I blame them, but their excuse of "It's going around" when they always use my stuff ESPECIALLY when sick gets on my nerves.
I went to my cousins place to sleep but the windows where opened so it didn't smell at the time, when we went to sleep my aunt told me to keep the windows closed in case of robbers, next morning you open that door and the only thing you smell is paint XC, they painted the room that day and the paint smell was still around till 6 in the morning of the next day =C

I think I may leave Tapas. I noticed over time that instead of increasing to 4,000 followers, I am now losing hundreds of followers per day and I'm not sure why.
It's getting to a point where I am beginning to feel discouraged and wondering why I bother posting if I keep losing followers...
Therefore, I will leave this open for the rest of this month, see how it goes and if I continue to lose more followers, then i'm going to delete this account and just resume posting on my tumblr blog as I always did in the past prior to joining tapas.
I just feel like i'm working too hard for very little in return.
That's my complaint.

sorry to hear that :C, just a question, did you get into the daily snack or trending/popular pages? cause many who do get into those usually have a giant growth of subs but then they lose a bunch of them once the initial hype dies out, mostly is cause the readers subed just cause and not cause they where actually interested in the comic

Yeah, I was in the daily snack more than once...That's sad to know that people just joined because of hype and not due to the interest of my work...I find that very depressing...
Considering the amount of people who submit new comics every single day on Tapas, just getting the opportunity to have people give you a chance should be something to be happy about. You should honestly be ecstatic you have readers in the first place, where most creators barely manage to get 10. I think your comic is perfectly fine, but taking it down is a risk of losing a majority of your readers, and chances are most probably won't seek you on Tumblr unless they're truly devoted (to be honest there's only really four comics in my reading list I would make the effort to follow outside of tapas if it ever came to it). In the end it is your choice, I believe you should just enjoy what you do and stop worrying about numbers.
