Well my family is made of artists so they actually encourage me but all my friends seem to forget that I've been drawing since I was I middle school ahah and yes it's really frustrating
I mean there is something in the middle of stick-figures and Michelangelo.

Well I had an artist in the family and my tracing period was back when I was first trying to figure out how to properly do digital art. But the recognition definitely felt nice.

I'm here to bitch bc I made an educational video essay about how to recognize and get out of same-face syndrome...
But everyone missed the point and thought I was saying all generic characters were objectively terrible. They got mad at me for using some generic anime as a spring board, too. It's not my fault the artist made all their faces look exactly the same. You can like a show if you want, while understanding it has flaws. Damn.
I made a pissed off rant about it and then went into a weird tangent about how awful fujoshis are.
I've got a lot of anger in me I guess. It's a good thing I am honest about it and express it in the open.

Someone hires me for a rush voice over job, sends over massive script. “What kind of voice and tone are you looking for?” “I don’t know... like a kickstarter video.” “Err... alright..?” Shuffle my entire schedule around to accommodate their short-norice dead line, record and edit and send things over with invoice.

“This isn’t what we were expecting..” they suddenly have a super clear idea of what they want, a full page of notation, bullet points of tones and reference videos. And I no longer have any time to spare.

I'm stuck at my uni for a good while, and I'm trying my best to use that time to get some shit done. But I just keep stopping and spacing because I am so damn tired. I just want to sleep, ugh. I can't even get any quality work done, but I can't just sit around either.

But on the bright side, I only have 1.5 weeks left until I am officially done with school forever!
I just have to do my best not to check out early haha.
