So I'm doing 2 small shows already this year - end of Feb and end of March. I keep wanting to spruce up my display and I came across this digital photo frame laying about from like a decade ago when I was in college. To my dismay it only operates by a plug to the wall but HO HO HO HO that plug is not attached hardcore. It's a plug-in to the cord, then the regular wall outlet. Looked through the manual and found information that it's a 5V DC cord, which means the thing only requires 5volts to run. For how long, I dunno. but I went about asking on the AANI discord and amazon browsing and found a battery meant to recharge smartphones/laptops/ect and a cord that's USB and comes with DC outlet on the other side (with like 20 diff adapters to make sure it fits). The battery itself is a 5V - regular dollar store battery packs fyi put out at most 3.5V.
My battery and cord came in today so TADAAAA
Guh I'm so excited for this. It even has a stand on the frame and I can set it landscape or portrait - though I'mma do landscape since like 99% of my drawings are landscape. It's not the BEST quality but it's pretty damn cool looking and since it looks like a picture frame I can fool everyone.
