Now that we have that out of the way, onto the rules! This thread is an updated version of the Last Crosspromo Megathread, which had gotten pretty old, so it's about time for a fresh start!
Disclaimer: This thread will be focused on comics, but if any novelists want to crosspromo, feel free to make a separate thread for that!
What is Crosspromotion?
This thread is for finding other creators to cross promote with. That means you promote their comic at the end of your next update, and they will also promote you in return. TL;DR You are recommending someone else's stuff to your readers, and they are doing the same for you.
EXAMPLE Ads for Tapas or Webtoon
How do I start?
I find the most effective method is to have 1-4 Open Slots per week or update. Post your comic link and custom ad, along with when your next planned update will be. If people are interested, they can reply to you and share their own banners/ads!
Be sure to tag the people you confirm to promote with for that week.
Other Notes
While this is completely optional, seeking out people with similar genres tends to make for the best cross promotion of readers. Feel free to specify if you're looking for certain genres!
