THIS is, in my opinion, very important. I have seen so many really good kisses or just dialogue on TV that made me shiver because it was so well done with the emotions etc, and then there is some porn that just... doesn't give it to me.
Also tension/anticipation. What gets me riled up (whether it is in erotica, horror films, or thrillers) is that you anticipate something and create a certain tension that builds up until - well, your jump scare, orgasm, whatever you have happens.
Often the full nude isn't the sexiest, but what is new. A finger brushing over skin or a drop of sweat running down their throat can make it seem more sensual and sexy than any p in v shot could ever do. Showing only bits and pieces allows the reader to create their own image in their mind and anticipate something through (more or less conscious) assumptions. I read good porn where there was literally never mentioned anything like "cock" etc that would make it obvious. I don't know if it's the guessing game that's so thrilling, or maybe that you kind of project yourself into the scenery... whatever, that's another thing to discuss.
Just refrain from some kind of "reporter" style. When reading erotic novels, authors often have this "then he did this and that. After that he moaned." which is kind of cringe-worthy - it's not fluent. Visual porn videos sometimes also show way too much where it just becomes repetitive because slamming into dat hole won't become more exciting after the 100th thrust in the same camera angle. I think for that stuff, sensual (camera) movement is way more exciting.
About "exciting new stuff," this is basically how I would put it:
And in general, if it's done well, I would read the same pages again and again because the tension etc is still the same when I revisit, so similar scenarios shouldn't be too bad - but testing on how circumstances influence their sex might be interesting too?
