The right english translation?

Same advice applies. Find a native speaker, get an english to other language dictionary, google resources of that language, learn the language, etc.

I just only need a couple bars translated(word balloons)- not an entire series.

@bakasama25 thanks. I'll send you a message with what I'm trying to do. I used google translator when I was initially writing the part, but if it's not reliable, then I need to change it.

Google translator will be the bane of your existence. I definitely recommend word reference and their forums, as they offer a lot more insight into how and where sentences are used!

Nothing replaces asking a native speaker, though, so do that when possible; there are websites specifically designed to find people with whom you can practise each other's language

I speak medium level Japanese, and have lots of Japanese friends, so I could get that checked for you.
