@LCT_m_a_d thanks so much for the tip about that - I will absolutely check those out - I do enjoy WLOP and Yuumei and I don't think I've seen them using 3d models! Always a pleasure to learn from the masters and get some inspiration

@DanielRKM That looks so good!!! You can practically hear the lights humming and the traceover meshes perfectly with your characters imo. I'm such a western comic delinquent I had to look up David Aja, but agree that wow those are some really nice and very graphic panel that he creates.
Still working this out, especially with lighting adjustments needed on character layers to match the generated lighting, but I think it's going to be more or less ok 
. Will have to experiment with drawing/painting over but not this week. Hoping to catch more interesting compositions too now that the space is available to look at and think about!
