Finally got in the bandwagon. But truely it wasn't just hype, the production value is really really high, feels like i'm watching movies like 'Parasite', especially episode 2-- it's godly.

After protagonist punches his ex-wife's husband "Do you think money can solve everything?" best line delivered, and the irony.

I´m back destroyed after watching the squid game T.T
chapter 6 made me drown in my own tears (Ali deserved better! and also poor Sae-Byeok and the other girl she invited to the team (forgot the name sorry)

I really thought Sae Byeok was gonna make it out xd but nooo it had to be only 1 winner game

And OMG my jaw dropped to the floor after that plot twist
Althought Gi hun? (the protagonist) was a not a very good father nor son I kind of liked his development after leaving the games by keeping his promess to sae-byeok and sang woo it seems he wants to stop the games somehow? but how?

Regarding the games it showed how people could become selfish and kill others off to save themselves since everyone had a reason to go to the games either for greed or necessity
The last game gi-hun has for good with 001 shows how even in a corrupted world there exist kindness and hope in humanity

I really wonder if there gonna be a second season to torture us morexd

As soon as something gets popular it's "overrated" and "over hyped" . I get it that you get tired of seeing it all over social media, but that doesn't mean it's bad .

I don't know, i feel like we can't compare Sangwoo (who is in debt by his own actions) and Ali or Sae or Ji-Yeong (or Jeong sorry) who didn't have any choice but to play.
I think i'm starting to be annoying with how much i hate Sangwoo lmao

I’m glad I watched it before the hype. It was an unique great experience and I loved it.

Sometimes there is a reason that something gets hyped all by itself. Because it is great.

Funny enough, I watched it bc there was an overwhelming amounting of hype, even from people who's opinions tend to line up with my own. Man, when I tell you that I could not go on to my Instagram explore feed for 5 minutes without seeing something Squid Game related...

mostly just the first two games and stanning Sae-byeok and Ji-Yeong, but still

But it´s ok! almost all of us hate him for what he did, he just didn´t want to go back and face the consequences plus poor of his mother who all this time believed her son was a succesful bussinesman
at least at the end she got company

(I just realized just now he also knew about the cookie game with the figures xd and he didn´t tell the team D: that´s why picked triangle and well luckily Sae Byeok took the triangle and the others struggled, then he takes advantage of Ali´s trust and becomes the worst...well at some point I saw it coming he didn´t react that much when people started dying and he wanted to continue when after the first game people started voting to leave or stay xd

He was the one who said to split up even if he knew for sure about the game since Sae told him about melted sugar

Yeah, Ji-yeong's death was the only actual spoiler I got but even then.. I actually kinda forgot I even saw that after I started watching it bc it took a while for her to be introduced lol

Being forgetful is nice sometimes Made that scene hurt even more, thank goodness

Okay, the ending sucked solid 3.5/10. But cop guy is totally alive.

the art I so pretty but god I hate him so much. He was one of my favs until the last twenty minutes of the entire series.

The series ended for me after the last game, really xD the last 20 minutes haven't done too much for me, even though they changed his character, of course. Like, he didn't exactly behaved like a cool guy when he pinpointed that MC cheated his "best friend".
But really, I felt for him too much and it's a pity the ending was what it was.
