The topic of Racism in Webcomics?

I don't read a lot of webcomics. I've read a few on webtoons. I'm in the process of making a webcomic. But I was wondering has anyone read any webcomics regarding racism or the experiences of POC? Are these topics interesting for anyone in this community?

I'm new to all of this and I didn't know there was a forum for webcomic creators. I was wondering what to expect if I drop a comic and it deals with themes of race or racism?

Would it mostly get flagged or would people here hop on and read it?

Also side question? If a chapter is past 50-70 pages? Is that too long for a webcomic or am I good? I know some are shorter than others..

In regards to bringing up racism in a comic, I think its completely fine so long as readers get the message that you're trying to deliver making that issue the focus. I dont' think you bringing it up will get it flagged.
I have a comic that at this point is in its baby stages, but over time i'll drop gentle, gradual hints of how classism + racism is ultimately wrong and how each of my characters are affected by it.

To answer your other question, me personally i think 50-70 pages is too long, I would break those up in parts!

I generally agree with @artsynimbus for the issue of racism and chapter length.

In my webcomic TLC, the setting is modern fantasy so I end up bringing up racism in with fantasy races. I think the key is to ensure that the audience knows you're adressing this as an issue and not for the issue at hand.

Pretty relevant atm, so there might actually be more interest than usual. Best thing to do is test the waters!

No reason it should get flagged, and whether or not people will be into it depends on a lot more then the theme, though. For some individuals it might be a turn off or on, but for most it's going to be about the art and story itself.

Bit long, but do what makes sense for you and your story.
