Sang: Tell me. Everything. Right f*cking now.
*The former idol was practically shaking with rage, wearing an expression Pierce had never seen before. To be honest, she felt very much afraid for the first time since she'd started living with her father. Sure, she'd expected Sang to be upset if he ever found out that she knew about Jiwoon's disappearance, but the way he looking at her now... Pierce gagged involuntarily, finding herself so scared to answer him that she was almost throwing up or pissing herself.
*He wasn't even yelling, and her stomach was in knots. Or maybe it wasn't the fear but the guilt she'd been ignoring all this time? Or maybe...maybe it was the horrified way her Dads were watching her and the unspeakable amount of disappointment she imagined they must be feeling right about now. And then there was Jules. Her first crush, first maybe boyfriend, and now he knew she was a monster.
Sang: Tell me.
*The idol took a step closer, eyes narrowing like they could burn the truth out of her. He wanted to punch something or someone, anyone. No, not Fuchsia's little girl. He would never dream of hurting her, but he did have half a mind to put his fist through the wall next to them.
Pierce: *Taking an involuntary step back, she tried to regain her composure, not realizing she was already in tears. I didn't want to get in trouble, okay?
*That's right. Sang paused in his tracks, noticing for the first time that he was talking to a kid. Just a kid. A frightened, scarred little kid.
Seok: Sang, step back. *He said it in warning, knowing if he didn't stop the idol, Fuchsia sure as hell would.
Sang: *Doing as told, he forced himself to take one of those stupid calming breaths Trenton always recommended, trying to squeeze his hands into fists to get them to stop shaking. I'm sorry, Pierce. I'm just...I'm scared, too. *Looking back at her, he decided to try again. You won't...you won't get in trouble. Just tell me what you know.
Pierce: I can't.
*Sang visibly tensed. He didn't approach her this time, but the muscles beneath his shirt tightened like his patience was running thin. The one girl that possibly knew everything about the man that hurt his son wouldn't talk. Why?
Sang: And why's that? *Damn. Even his voice was beginning to shake.
Pierce: I just can't. You'll hate me. Everyone will.
Sang: (She's just a kid. She's just a kid. She's just a kid...) Pierce, I'm begging you, tell me anything. What did he look like? How did his voice sound? Was he tall or short? Fat or skinny? I just want to find my son.
Seok: *Giving Pierce a reassuring look, he nodded. It'll be okay. Nothing you say will ever make us hate you. I swear it.
*Pierce still looked conflicted, but she could also sense the way Sang was trying to calm himself down to reason with her.
Pierce: I...I knew about the stalker. I saw him around, you know, when I lived in Seoul for a bit with my dads. S-Sometimes Jiwoon got upset because his friends would ask him about his family and make him feel bad. And then one time, Jiwoon went to the park like he's always done to work on homework or whatever. Sometimes he cuts through there to walk home--anyway, that's not the point. The point is...he wasn't alone that day. A man approached him.
Sang: How do you know all this?
Pierce: He told me. We weren't friends or anything, but he looked up to me. I guess he thought I was like...family, or something. Anyway, the man sat with him and talked to him and offered to walk home with him. Jiwoon declined because he felt weird about it, but the man still followed him. Every day after that, Jiwoon said he felt like he was being watched... I just ignored him at first until I was walking home one day, and the same man he described started following me.
*Seok felt his heart drop to the floor. Was this why Pierce ran home that one day and demanded they move back to Lacuna?
Pierce: I didn't appreciate it, so I looked him in his stupid f*cking face and asked what gives. He just...smiled. Then he asked if I knew you. *She looked at Sang pointedly. I said no, and then he left. A few days later, Jiwoon showed me all these postcards he'd found from his stalker. He looked really scared, but I told him they were nothing. He still looked pretty freaked out, so I ended up keeping them...
Sang: You...you mean these? *He held up the card in his hand. This? This was you? You did this to me?
Pierce: *Slowly nods. I thought maybe...maybe you could find clues I couldn't. Or maybe you'd, I don't know, get closure somehow? I didn't want you to know it was me.
Sang: So that means...there's nothing. *Closing his eyes, he ripped up the cards in his hands and threw them aside. All this time...
Pierce: *Hesitant. It's not nothing...I saw him.
*Sang hardly even looked interested anymore. He was too swept up in his own grief to care what else she had to say. It all seemed like such a f-cking waste now. A year had passed...he had to be stupid to think Jiwoon was still alive or that the stalker wanted to be found.
Pierce: I-I swear, I saw him! He was wearing... *The teen fell silent but not because Sang had stopped listening. Instead, her eyes had become locked on the slender man that had entered the room behind them.
*It was as if even the thought was enough to summon him.
*Sang wiped aimlessly at the tears spilling onto his cheeks, whimpering as a hand crept across his waist and rested just below his navel.
Sang: Not now, Trent. I just want to be alone.
*Long, nimble fingers caressed their way along his jaw, gliding over his collar, a warm thumb brushing across his lips until they parted just enough for him to slide the tip inside. A narrow, pointed chin rested on his shoulder as the man's warm breath teased the exposed skin of the idol's neck tauntingly. Hardly a moment had passed before he felt the sweet tenderness of his boyfriend's lips marking the narrow space between his shoulder and collar.
*Confused by Trenton's strange neediness given the current situation, Sang naturally turned to look at the doctor.
Sang: Unh! *The sound that escaped him came out like a cross between a moan and a muffled scream. But really, he was just f-cking terrified.
Angel: Shh~ Daddy doesn't like a struggle.
*He grinned wickedly beside the idol, watching in satisfaction as the color drained from his face. Seok didn't even hesitate to force Pierce and Fuchsia behind him, grabbing Jules and encouraging him to move back as well. Angel meanwhile whirled Sang around and pulled him flush against his bare chest, squeezing at the former idol's hips and a-s like he owned them.
Seok: Yah! Who the f*ck are-
Angel: *Blatantly ignoring the others. Why don't we go somewhere more private? I have a lot~ to catch you up on.
Sang: F-Fe...
*Sang wanted to argue or fight back or do literally anything, but he felt...he felt...kinda...
*Angel watched in mild amusement as the idol's body involuntarily crumpled in his arms, eyelids fluttering and eyes rolling back like he'd just experienced the best sex in his life, only this had nothing to do with pleasure or pain. Sang had taken one look at his deceased friend's face and simply fainted.
*Talk about sh-tty timing, too. If he was still coherent, he could've easily knocked the creep out with one hit with his powers. But like this...he was left completely vulnerable.
Seok: Sang! *The former idol rushed forward to grab him, and Angel's smile widened in anticipation.
Angel: I'm sorry, but three's a crowd~ *With a wink of one mischievous golden eye, Seok froze dead in his tracks.
*Everything. The walls, the floors, the people--it all just melted and bled away like a painting left out in the rain. Angel smiled from afar, admiring Seok as his eyes glazed over. The idol's expression flattened as his reality began to shift.
*Rather than standing in front of some psychotic creep at a wedding reception, he found himself surrounded by excited fans asking for his autograph.
Angel: Nice, isn't it?
