Oh noooo! Naturally dark brown/black hair??? When I tried to go white from dyed black I ended up with a clear orangey yellow mess but then again that was dyed sooo

Yesss, dark brown. Two bleaching sessions, which I thought would be enough! Clearly I don’t know a damn thing about hair XD

Three bleaching sessions is what it takes for my hair and mine is red/reddish medium brown haha

I do 2 rounds with the strongest stuff available in my location and 1 round with something more gentle (or rather something that lightens fewer levels)

My hair has unusually strong quality so i don't recommend that whole ordeal to anyone. Best option if you want white hair is to do as follows:

1. Have a lot of money. (Already lost 90% of the "i want white hair" crowd here)
2. Take this weird phenomenon called "a lot of money" to a hairdresser.
3. Ask the hairdresser if they can help you get white hair. Ask them how they would go about it. If they blurt out "bleach it until it goes white", then take your money and run away. Try the same with another hairdresser and hope for better luck.
4. Congrats you have white healthy hair. Now prepare for heeeeella maintenance! XD

roflolol! That's why I've only done two sessions up to this point. I've spent about £120 so far, and have plans for another when I can get some more! According to science, money = white hair. There is no other reasonable explanation XD

Decided to check out the app store reviews for Tapas and everyone who gave it 3 or less stars basically said they hate paying for things.

Star Trek: Deep Space 9 is so good.

I'm in the middle of a Trek binge. It'll take years to finish, but that's okay. I started with The Next Generation and moved on to the best of the original series. They used to be just rainy-day entertainment (like when there's a thunderstorm and I have to use the laptop) but now I'm getting DS9 on the daily.

After this, I might sidestep into Babylon 5 before I move on to Star Trek: Voyager.

That goes for most premium comics too.

I've seen readers who leave reviews on nearly all premium comics downvoting them saying it costs too much, or whose comments consist mainly of passive aggressive notes about how they're trashing/removing another series away from their reading list.

I have had to take it too. Been told to "get off my high horse".

Apparently being a responsible adult and getting a paycheck so I can pay my bills and stay debt-free = being on a high horse. Who would have thought..?

It's annoying to have to deal with premium comics, but if I like the comic; I see it as worth it.

Besides, it's their own investment. They can pay if they want to, but they fail to realize; There's thousands of free comics online, and they can use the attention.

I reckon a lot of them don't realise what Tapas is supposed to be. I must admit before I joined I thought people must apply to put stuff up there. I was a bit shocked when I realised I could just flounce in and post all over the place.

Hahah yes but if they would just take one second to google tapas.io, they would see that the summary on the wikipedia page for tapas CLEARLY states it has a commecial intent/purpose.

Man when I grew up, checking wikipedia was considered lazy. Now it's "too long, didn't read".

I don't mind if people don't wanna pay for my stuff, that is their choice as consumers. It's just the lip they give us that's ridiculous. You don't see me going into a store, grabbing a loaf of bread and walking up to a cashier going "WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU FORCING ME TO PAY FOR THIS?! GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE!!!"

Hell it's not even an actual paywall on the consumers end in this case! Many of the ones complaining CAN earn coins for free, they just don't feel like doing it. And they still call it a paywall and scream their curses at the creators for... needing an income to cover their rent and the expensive equipment required to create the content.

I use a cintiq to make my art, I don't do well with screenless tablets at all. My cintiq is gathering some deep scratches by now so in a couple years I'll need it replaced. If I make no money off my art, I'll have no money to replace it with, and that directly leads to no more comics. But if that happened I bet these people in question would call me lazy for not updating anymore. That's what has happened to Kura whenever he has to take a break for technical or health related reasons after all.

Most fans are great people. But a small vocal bunch are unbearable

Yes, that's when people are at their most ridiculous. If you withdraw a free, non-essential item, they whinge. I think it was only fifty years ago when you paid for all books, comics and films.

Speaking of which, I have saved nearly 2000 Tapas coins from watching ads now. I don't know how much that's worth but I'm hoping to have much more for the 22nd.

That's another thing, man. The episodes are like literally $0.10-$0.20 each. Or, according to popular belief, "expensive".
