LATEST: At this point I dont know...bought a new 3 in 1 cable, connected it and I'm still having the same issues(drivers won't connect, windows is not reading/sensing the tablet, stylus doesn't work); I've reached out to support but I feel like they are about to take me on a ride with no solution- I sent them an email stating the issue and with my info(mainly the serial number for the tablet) and [within] the response was: "SeNd YoUr SeRiAl NuMbEr"
Did they NOT read the first email?
My core being is kinda screaming "screw this, just go get another tablet" but I'm in a position where my living situation is about to change, so I really shouldn't be spending out the monies right now but I NEED A TABLET since this one obviously isnt working. I have some bit of Amazon credit, but the tablet that I'm eyeing(older XP Pen) kinda reeks of the same issues...so I'm in this zone where I'm hesitant to because of the issues; I never had any issues with drivers when I had the old screenless Wacom- and I had that tablet for SIX YEARS before I upgraded(I gave it to a nephew)
I'm just really tired- and really frustrated.
