I'm fine with those small manipulations, which are not meant to harm anyone. Everyone (or almost everyone) do them sometimes.
But I'm super-negative toward cruel manipulations, such as serious gaslighting or other ways to ensure a person is their inadequacy or negligibility. I never can't feel friendly toward people, who do it.

Anyone else feel like there's been a surge in promo posts lately? Like I dunno if it's the warm weather or just a consequence of going cabin crazy from the quarantine but I feel like there's just suddenly quite a bit more than usual.

If a group of people are in a room discussing and suddently someone shove everyone outside and slam the door at my nose, I don't think people would not see me as a victim because I was not the one starting the discussion.

Because we do not own the room. Because the community does not exist for its own sake, but for the sake of a business that sees us as something like employees or assets, to be valued up to the point that we become a liability.

Can we go back to talking about technological determinism?

To be clear. Red can not vote. Red has no real mod power. And every time Red makes someone uncomfortable or his intention is unclear I have apologized and contacted the user that was being misled or hurt.

And here is a spoiler. Red is about to ban himself because the joke is over and it is a fun way for him to lose the title again.

Is making online lessons harder, than IRL ones?

It's not harder but at school I can look at the kid and go "....you want to get on the phone with mom now and see if she likes you not doing work" or I can give a zero cause they were there. In this case I have to email 10 million times to get anything done.
