The key to a healthy body is to have a healthy relationship with it. Is okay to care about your body and health, even care about your looks if you feel like it. But make sure it doesn`t become an obsesion.
A common diet mistake is to skip meals or eating less. That makes the body go in "emergency mode" and try to save body fat.
The key is to eat healthy food and don`t skip meals. If you have a consistent hour for all your meals it would help you a lot. (no need for a second by second schesdule)
Personally, instead of eating less, i would recommend you to excercise if you aren`t doing it. Look for a sporty activity you like, maybe hit the gym if you feel like it, or add some work out to your morning routine.
Also, focus on the parts of your body you like when you watch yourself in the mirror.
