Well, I'm excited!
The local space center is doing a sensory friendly evening tomorrow night and we are going to have tickets to go there and my son won't have to worry about headphones or anything!
Explanation: Due to his autism he is sound sensitive. Not only can he hear like.... everything unless he hyper focuses, every sound registers as "high importance" in his brain. So we've been avoiding the space center even though we knew he'd love it. Too noise and he'd already be wound up. He'd be more likely to have overloads or meltdowns.
.... maybe I should bring the headphones just in case.
