Some people start power struggles during conversations, others are actually having a conversation. One can tell by how they say things and by the content you can tell if they are actually paying attention.
One can tell most of the time the general intentions during a conversation with enough knowledge of said person and deep understanding of verbal and non-verbal cues. Also depends of the content of said contribution. Personally i listen to the thing said before emiting such judgement to avoid engaging in unneccesary hostility.
example of good interruption: a correction relevant for a topic that avoids an unneccesary derailment.
example of bad interruption: repeating the same point that was already countered.
guess it depends of what part of the foot are you using, if you can carry the weight of the shoes and at what part of the person`s body you are aiming at?
