Presentations of my results when I was a student / Intern:

• The main results themselves were achieved a week before the presentation;
• Presentation was already prepared in 2-3 days in advance and had decent quality (by the words of people who watched it).

Nowadays, two hours before presenting my results as working researcher:

• Numerical experiment is not prepared (i.e. no result);
• At this moment, the presentation contains 1 slide: with my name and the title of research;
• Instead of preparation I eat, laugh at memes and write posts. Bc I know I'm fucked anyway.

That's what called... Degradation.

Lead researcher showed understanding. She asked another programmer to help me with technical part, now we are trying to solve a problem with weird error in code part of my research together. At evening I'll consult with math professor to resolve my problems in math part and ask an advice of what illustrations to put into the presentation, and how to write it to make understandable for not-math programmers (this part paralyzed my work on slides themselves, bc I was very perplexed on these aspects, too).

I love it when a song gives me a burst of inspiration. Just had an idea for some sort of item, probably a grenade in my comic that causes Sparks (the ability system in my comic) to go into an overdrive. Which may potentially kill a Spark user, depending on how taxed their nervous system is.

I'm gonna name the item after either the song, or the bands name...so...either Powersurge Grenades, or Overkill Grenades...that's pretty cheesy. Is it too cheesy? It probably is.

Grenade comes from the fact it has the shape of a pomegranate, and in many languages, you have to say 'hand grenade' to mean the weapon, otherwise it's the fruit.

Wow. That programmer turned out to be a cool guy. He helped me to solve weird problem with error in Import. It was solved. In three hours. One of this hour was redundant because of my mistake. But it was solved.
