What did you go to college for? You could maybe tutor, that atleast gives you flexible hours. Or try to become a substitute teacher in your area(not sure what the rules are in Texas, some states you don't need certification, just a college diploma). I used to sub and it's nice because unless you take on a long term job, you just go to work, do your thing, and when you leave it's done. And if you hated the kids or the lesson plan you got, you can just never sub for that person again. I got to learn so much about different classes. I subbed for all grades and all major subjects-math,sci,eng,history,foreign language,art,PE, but also some really different classes too like Piano lab, welding, robotics, and autoshop. It was certainly an interesting between jobs job.
