So I DID NOT have "getting stuck in an elevator for an hour and a half" anywhere on my life achievements list...
Got my evening walk in- on the treadmill at the gym at work; did about an hour...my bod is so worn out & tired that I'm not gonna be able to do any art tonight.
been on the fence about whether or not i wanna join inksgiving this year but i am considering a couple of "giving back" posts to make good on some of the rewards i promised for previous goals like requests, icons and comic lore especially since my active projects have changed from way back then to now. i guess if anything it's a worry for folks expecting consistent comic updates to be coming back when that likely wouldnt be in the card till much later (like after new years) but hopefully those interested would maybe consider checking out other pages or platforms where i do talk about my current projects like tumblr or ko-fi
those stresses aside my big focus has just been keeping up with the day job especially with black friday closing in fast so i'm hoping to grant myself a bit of reprieve with comics and art on my days off and then the splatfest thats happening this weeked (go team fist bump 
)
FINALLY finished the art piece that had been working on since late July; unfortunately I threw it behind the Patreon paywall...gonna try to start on a new piece next week, but it might be towards the weekend after the Thanksgiving holiday coz of all the prep on the days leading up to the holiday.
Feels good to have the piece done, but now I'm in that "I feel empty" zone coz I dont have anything to currently work on right now.
Was supposed to have done my laundry, but spent the earlier part of the day finishing the colors on the piece & the latter part of the evening at the store getting the food on my Thanksgiving list. Only got a few items left to get, so I'll do my laundry tomorrow.
@VibrantFox thinking about doing inksgiving as well since A) I do have a small pile of ink that I havent been giving away in YEARS(about 47K) and B) it would be nice to get ink to top off my transfer amount(I'm at least halfway there)- who doesnt want free money for the holidays?

If you're using a digital program, which one are you using? I'm using Clip Studio Paint- just a layer set on Screen on top of the art(you paint bucket the entire layer black- on the screen effect it makes the black invisible) and the brush on screen(any color) which makes the brush effect glow...the particular brushes I'm using is a lightning ball effect brush and falling sparks brush that I imported from my old Photoshop brush collection.
UGH gotta stay up and make sure this turkey doesnt burn...the stove in the new place is weird- it shuts off by itself after a while and you have to program it on a timer; BUT I cant adjust the temperature while it is on the timer, so I'm having to stay up to baste/brown it and then once it's done I can slide into bed.
Up this afternoon and snacking while waiting on my last dish to finish cooking...then the FEAST begins!
I felt really big brain when I realized that my comic could update by itself without me (my internet went out for a while) because I had already scheduled the episode for thanksgiving morning 
Winding my holiday down...I gotta be in work early tomorrow- but leaving after 4 hrs; hopefully nothing productive is done during the 4 hours I'm there.
I’m going through all my sketches for upcoming pages and putting the text (instead of the scribbled dialogue I have down currently) because it’s satisfying.
The brush that I used was only made for Photoshop- I downloaded it back in 2016 and I dont remember where...
However, here is a brush that is in the Clip Studio Assets- go there to find brushes; all you need to do is type in a key word(the word I used is "dust"):
BTW they are free to download. The other dust brush that I have via CSP was free, but has been moved to 10 clippy points...to make the brush "glowy" you create a layer, select & fill the layer with black, change the type of layer to "screen", and then you can pick the brush- pick a color you want to use and change the brush type to "screen" as well; be careful though- the more you use it in a certain area/space, the brighter it gets...
Awake a little earlier than I wanted to be coz I crashed yesterday afternoon after getting off work mid day & stuffing my face with leftover Thanksgiving food. Got up yesterday eve and started promoting some stuffs...planning to start on a new piece today- just trying to decide between doing this piece of my OC or doing a fan art idea that popped in my head at the last minute last night.
I'll probably either crash for a early evening nap OR slide into bed earlier than I want coz my bod will be like "okay tired, let's go"...I want to at least get a good amount of art done before that happens.
Nooooo I just realized that the only kind of geese one would find in the location my comic takes place are canadian geese, which are not white. Kinda sounds racist but uh I wanted there to be white geese 
they’re just more iconic… whatever I’ll deal.
Kinda pissed coz there were these sports wear items/ensemble that I wanted to get for the Christmas holiday(a hoodie sweatshirt, non hooded sweatshirt, & a long sleeved t-shirt) but the non hoodie and long sleeve tee are sold out and I cant get the hoodie in the size I want, so gonna have to wait until they restock- which could be [WAY] after Christmas...
Guess I'll have to move on to something else; I'm not really buying myself much(looked at Crunchyroll and there are no decent anime tees I like there- looked at 80s Tees and there are no decent 80s cartoon tees I care to get).
Waking up late afternoon after sleeping in coz I had to be in early on Friday...the whole week was one big episode of "dont wanna go to work". Mentally I'm ready for my week vacation at the end of the year; they are doing to many unnecessary things that don't have to be done right now.
So ended up getting nothing for Cyber Monday, just gonna wait and get everything I want little by little; it's for the best. Once I get the storage stuffs moved to a new spot I should be able to save a couple hundred dollars...just so tired of everyone raising prices- all the meanwhile making my job wages look like peanuts.
Gonna do soe cleaning & laundry today, then start back trying to work on this piece I started last weekend...right now trying to made adjustments to it coz the right arm looks "off".
Kinda glad I'm in this week; taking Friday off...after that, 2 more weeks, then I'm out on vacation til January 2!
Switching my day job activities over to a new laptop- for years I was on a desktop, but 1) a cybersecuriry incident back in March messed the network up for months & they aren't wanting to open things back up fully...so some of the research I have to do I have to get out on a hot spot to do it- for months I was using my own from my personal phone and my iPad, but now they've issued me company phone to do it, and a new laptop...2) the desktop was old and wasn't getting a lot of the system/network updates as fast anymore.
I think I have everything loaded on the laptop that I used from the desktop- so I should be good to go.
But back to this Friday- I am SOOOO ready for a day off; I'm really ready for my vacation...this year has been a LOT.
I said I was gonna post on Monday… Monday is almost over now

I REALLY needed this day off- slept in til almost 2 this afternoon; my body needed the rest after yesterday's madness at the day job(ended up being there 12 hours).
My cookware set came in- gonna open it probably by the end of the evening; just been downloading new assets on Clip Studio(since I havent been in weeks) and about to go snag me something to eat since it's the weekend...just gonna spend tonight watching movies & trying to work on art stuffs.
Had a doctor's appointment yesterday and they took some blood as usual, so I spent all yesterday not doing anything...did do laundry, but that was about it.
HOLY CRAP this mini heater is doin its thing! I don't feel so cold anymore at my desk...
And it hasn't tripped the breaker yet either...

UPDATE: Been more than an hour....and this heater has warmed up my room quite a bit- all this for $10!
it’s so cold in the morningI swear my bedroom is like the coldest room in the house...last week fam came to my door in the morning and they backed up real quick coz the cold rushed out to greet them. Lol
At first I wasn't going to get this heater, coz it WAS $10...I was like, "it's a Walmart heater, probably not worth shit"- boy, was i WRONG. This heater has warmed my desk area up..!
Gonna move it near my bed when I go to sleep for the night...
UPDATE: the heater did its thing through the night- I slept pretty good...woke up this morning and my room is warm.
I am a happy camper!
Made it through this torturous week of work; gonna try to work on some art this weekend but I got some cleaning & laundry to do...
One more week and I'm out for the rest of the year on vacation..! 
Lately I’ve been having a lapse of motivation. It makes sense though. I had loads of motivation a while back. I just have to wait it out.
