The graphic novel I ordered has shipped- that's the last of my Black Friday purchases.

Nope...I forgot about the Asajj Ventress(Star Wars) Funko Pop figure I ordered.

Got in the Square reader in today...the graphic novel shipped, but I haven't gotten a ship alert on the Asajj Funko figure PLUS the funds for it have not been withdrawn from my account yet...I just hope it doesn't happen at the wrong time.

I'm sitting here at work trying to gather the motivation to work on my novel while I'm bored here on my graveyard shift. Also browsing through threads on here and just vibing. Excited for the holidays coming up!

I crashed Friday night after getting up 2 days in a row to be at work early coz my boss took time off(Thursday I worked 12 hours; Friday I worked about 10 hours); up this morning doing a few stretches and then gonna put stuffs in the washer.

Gonna chill, trying to start working on background art to finish off the Rogue 80s piece...I would like to listen to some music but I'm about to kill my Spotify account coz I don't agree with a company that promotes ICE recruitment commercials & takes money from ICE(amongst other issues...that was the straw that broke the camel's back); I guess I'll dive into some Book Club videos on YouTube and listen to some house mixes.

Gonna check my finances and if I'm good I'm gonna go see Jujutsu Kaisen tomorrow.

Oh yeah- gonna put out my little Charlie Brown Christmas tree tonight...

The graphic novel I ordered of a fellow peer arrived yesterday; got email notice that the Asajj Funko shipped- the funds for that has been taken from my account...ordered Blu-ray versions of Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas(Jim Henson/Muppets) & A Christmas Story. I used to watch Emmet Otter every Christmas when I was a kid- tried getting it back in 2022 but for some reason Amazon couldn't ship it, so they refunded my money...even now they had a notice saying they were "temporarily out of stock"; I hope they get it back so I can get my copy.

Pulled out my large humidifier coz I'm getting tired of my skin being dry and itchy and my nose being dry when I sleep at night.

I'm off this Friday so hopefully I can get a few little things done & get started on the final art for 2025...

Taking one of my dad's roles-- tenting our garden daily (lesser time for comic). I'm a noob and not really cared for plants before, but in weeks I'm slowing getting attached. Maybe that love/attachment for the flora can help me with my nature/ background drawing even further.

Feeling kind of good coz I was able to pay off the first wave of bills this month...

Didn't get anything done on Friday(I was too tired) so I watched season 2 of the Tomb Raider animated show on Netflix, then watched the current dubbed episodes of One Piece.

Up this afternoon, and planning to see if I really want to grab this smol Christmas tree for my room; also going to grab a small sheet of sandpaper so that I can finally paint the wall in the bathroom.

College football bowl games are starting today but the games today are smaller teams that I don't care to watch- going to watch something or listen to music while I try to start on my final piece of art for 2025 waiting for the paint to dry; tomorrow I'll hang up the cabinet & put away my bathroom stuffs.

Next week is my last full week this year at work; the following week I'm on my week vacation gonna watch movies, TV shows, football, play video games, and work on art...got my Asajj Funko figure in- the only thing I'm waiting on now is the Christmas movies I ordered. I thought about getting this Star Wars/Andor t-shirt that I saw & like, but I think I'm gonna wait til next week at the latest to see how much I have leftover after I pay my 2nd wave of bills for the month.

I have an important math exam and I haven't studied yet, and my grades are abysmal... but despite all this, I'm still laughing.

It is freezing cold outside this morning(20 degrees) and I just wanna sleep in but back to the day job for this last full week before I'm on vacation for the Christmas holiday...I go back on the 29th, but only for 2 days then I'm working half a day(4 hrs) for New Year's Eve; off New Year's Day but back on Friday the 2nd(though I plan on leaving work at a real decent time that day).

Started working on my final art for 2025 and while I know I'm most likely NOT going to finish it by the end of the year(at least not the colors), I needed to do this...I may try to squeak out a few more standalone pieces next year, but I really want to try to get back to working on Ray Thunder; I wanted to do more than one con show in 2026 but with the fact that I'm still trying to get my footing financially(pay off credit card & make sure I'm doing okay in regards to the house) I'm going to put off my plans for DC BlerdCon til 2027 and see where I'm at then...if guy does the Sci-Fi Expo I may still do that one since since it's local(and somewhat affordable).

I hear ya. I'm traveling for the Holidays. So, I was uploading enough episodes to get me through to next year and a week. I'll be horribly jet-lagged when I get back. So, it's nice to have everything ready so I can just go on break for a bit. Shut down all my FIVERR gigs until next year. That has super slowed down since AI has started up. SUCKS! I was actually getting some cash from that. But hey, I'll just have to be positive for next year. I'm glad I've finished up my webnovel project, and pretty much, can just get it rolled out on Tapas for 2026. Looking forward to next year.

We're ALL gonna need some of that positivity...right now things are a mess & kinda feel like the creatives that are out right denouncing AI and still creating works is one of the things that is keeping us afloat.

My series started on webtoon 6 days now & I got an episode removal. That's a first.
(just contacted staff to see what's inappropriate)

But but but everything is a non-issue on my chinese version in webtoon & it sits there for few years now.

If anything being away this long and seeing the changes that site has put itself through has convinced me that I need not go back...of course this puts a dent in me trying to get a lot more eyes on my comic, but I dont want to have to censor and alter my vision.

In other news, I put up the tree & put the ornaments on it...I dont think the bulbs detatch, so I couldn't put the tree topper on like I wanted to

WOO HOO- got in my last day...I am officially "on vacation" all next week got OT as well.

Currently watching college football playoffs; gonna go pick up the movie Elf and The Grinch cartoon from my storage tomorrow(coz they don't have them on streaming), got a doctor's appointment(my year end physical), and getting a haircut...

Been working on the piece, watching a few holiday movies, & started rewatching Shangri-la Frontier...about to go out and get the ingredients for Christmas dinner , then come home and get back to working on the piece.

Couldn't find the Grinch DVD in my storage so I bought it(only $10)...but found Elf, so I'll be watching that this evening; gonna spend tomorrow watching holiday stuffs after cooking instead of watching sports stuffs that TV is trying to push(I can deal with football on Thanksgiving, but on Christmas? Now they're being GREEDY)- I have all my little shows like Rudolph, Frosty, Charlie Brown Christmas & more...

Feels good to not have to get up to an alarm clock this week..!
