Got in the replacement earpads for my headphones and they work! I'm satisfied that I didn't have to get a whole new pair(yet- though I will eventually have to because I want to have a separate pair solely for when I go to the gym).
Decided that right now I'm NOT going to get the XP Pen magic drawing tablet- I'm trying to control my spending to a certain degree, and that purchase right now would be too much...so my "birthday present" for myself next month is replacement controllers for my Switch and maybe 2 games- Hello Kitty Island Adventure and/or Final Fantasy 12; all 3 of those would be under $200, so I'm good with that...I started playing Zelda Echoes and I like it, but my current shitty controllers are making the gameplay difficult.
Did my annual evaluation and they gave me a decent raise- though I only feel like they did it because the current economy is crap right now...I don't know there is still some residual mistrust from me for the last number of years(2020-2024) when they gave me some real tiny shitty raises; I just can't see them being "benevolent" all of a sudden.
Working on a new art piece- just kinda wrestling with the proportions right now so it's going real slow...this one is a larger size one as well but I decided to hop back on a fan art property so that I wouldn't have to put too much thought into the design.
