I remember once reading someone’s comment on another site that hated when eyebrows were drawn over the hair... but I actually quite like them. They’re huge for expression and it’d be a shame to fully hide them behind a set of bangs.

Yeah, I always think it's unfair when people complain about that...when drawing in a style where huge bangs are the norm (AKA stereotypical anime) what are we supposed to do? Just not use eyebrows??

I actually don't like eyebrows drawn over the hair but I see them drawn like that more than drawn under the hair, so I just came to a conclusion that's a style choice and it doesn't really make a character design or someone's artstyle bad for me. I just go extra mile to keep my character's eyebrows under their bangs. xD

As I said - that is a logo, it's not meant to work against other human silhouettes. Character and graphic design are 2 separate things and use different tools for their goals. You don't need to recognize a person in this image, but a brand.

It's a logo but it's his exact silhouette from a photo. He isn't "designed", it's his silhouette. The original photographer even eventually sued since they were using the image beyond his original agreement with Nike.

But there's nothing distinct enough about his silhouette that they couldn't have used the silhouette of say Vince Carter...even though outside of silhouette, the two look nothing alike.

Even as realism goes - you can recognize the distinct silhouettes of, say, the Avengers in the movie. even sans the costumes.

You do realize that stunt actresses have absolutely no say whatsoever on what they wear, right? They do a very difficult and risky job, granted. But I don't think they're ever asked what they think about the costumes. If only because they need to wear something that looks quite like what the main actress wears so the audience doesn't see right through the double.

I know they were different shoes where allowed - like the stunt double for Black Widow in the first Marvel movie where she's kicking butt in a hallway, you can see her actual costume has at least 1" heels in the boots, but the double has the exact same boots as flats.

Like, I get that some things are supposed to have staying power (the gel in Yugi's goth hair), but when you fall into an OCEAN and are diving around for a person (or cards), your hair will get wet and the product will break down. OMG, that's like... the original sin of Hollywood. Everyone is always so clean and has perfect hairdos and make-up, no matter the circumstances... Like even the apocalypse is no excuse to not look your very best.

Two particularly egregious instances come to my mind.
In Eragon (the movie), the protagonist is a poor boy having to resort to poaching to survive, but of course the actor is dressed in clothes that look SO new, I kept expecting to see the tags still attached...

In Planet of the Apes (the 2001 movie, though maybe all adaptations are guilty of this, I'm not sure), humans have supposedly devolved into wild animals... but the female human who gets close to the protag looks like this:

I think you misunderstood my intention. Stunt actors have contracts that explicitly state that if the costume inhibits (or whatever the right word) safety of the stunt actor then the costume must be changed. Black Widow's actress can wear heels because she is not flipping around like a ninja gymnast. The stunt actor wears flats because it is safer in that particular instance. Stunt actors expect to get hurt to some degree, and all movies have medics on the set somewhere, but some stuff is just done too violently.

It's a bit different when a movie is 99% CG, like say AVATAR was. Then you're using human composites and other stuff to cheat. I forget what movie it was I saw but they used a training tool gymnastists use to train how to do flips as a safety rig for someone doing flips in a martial arts film.

Like even the apocalypse is no excuse to not look your very best.

So... annoyingly... true. Like that Poseidon movie - the girls are drenched in water and still wearing eyeliner and "looking cute!" sdklhfdkf JUST STOP IT HOLLYWOOD. Unless you're putting an ad in your movie for "buy this eyeliner" or "makeup spray setter!" then stop showing me impossible scenarios of make-up!

Yes! clothes that don't look aged and worn when they should be! If someone has been lost and travelling around for a long period of time, I expect more than their outer cloak to be covered in dirt and moss, dang nab it! I wanna see holes in the knees and at the seams, or at the edges of jean pockets cause we all know the fabric breaks down before the stitching does in those places. Jeans are woven out of a miracle weave - unless they have elastic/spandex woven in - then it just breaks down in like 4 washes.

Assuming it's not a trick question and these are from Avenger movies, and limited to the guys I named, my guesses would be Stark or Banner (they wore suits), Rogers, Banner, Stark, and either Stark or Barton. It's hard to say on some, since we don't have any height to consider left mostly with the clothes style and the amount of upper body mass.

As for the logo part - yeah, they could have used another player if they wanted, but then it wouldn't be Air Jordans, no? Here the intent wasn't "lets make a logo with a basketball character", it was "lets make a logo with Michael Jordan".

Sorry, I was not trying to assume anything about your intention.
I just think that what you're saying reinforces my initial point, because if flat shoes are considered safer than high heels for violent scenes, then it makes no sense for most female fighters to wear high heels to begin with.

Just to be clear, I'm not trying to revive the flame of the initial debate I involuntarily got into.
For sure, every author has the right to design their characters as unrealistically as they want. Realism is neither an obligation, nor an objectively good trait in fiction, after all. It's okay for character designs to make no sense, is what I'm saying.

Naw dawg. I did not limit myself to props and poses from a heavily watched movie. If these guys all have such "distinct" silhouettes, you shouldn't need contextual clues like guessing based on who wore a suit in the film.

I also inserted two actors who played Daredevil for a potential joke about double blind testing...so No, you didn't have a 25% chance when guessing. But it is funny that you made up your own rules AFTER I posted some images.
