This might be the unpopular opinion here, but I still like reading old tropes and BL cliches.

Nah, it's not just you! I like a large range of stories, including ones that are highly indulgent and full of tropes. There's certain ones I can't stomach, but there's tons that are guilty pleasures for me.

Ok, so I am more into yuri nowadays lol and I always liked the works from Amano Shuninta specially.. going back to the topic I would totally read short stories like salesman x client business after party . First non rapey drunken sex and second managing the feelings, sounds totally realistic to me... XD.
