After reading just about every superhero thing I wanted back in middle school, I now pretty much only check out superhero stuff based on if I like creators or particularly compelling word of mouth. Superhero films/tv are a harder sell for me, partly because I’m partial to comics. Both in a stingy “the source material was better” way but also I’m just haven’t felt as in tune with movies/tv...
Actually, now that I think about it, I’ve actually been avoiding the slate just to have one less pop culture thing to keep up with. But for the sake of discussion, I think I’ll take a quick peek...
What I said still applies, but if they pull from Milliar and Ennis’s take on the characterization and vibe... I could see myself giving it a shot.
(Already kinda not amazing to know they’re staring in the same universe as Superman though... Morrison (I know the New 52 wasn’t his idea but he did write that book.))
