Time to say goodbye but not to burn bridges

What's up guys? It's been a long time since I've been here. I'm not even sure if anyone will notice this so yes as you can tell from the title I plan to say bye bye here.

I know I haven't been here for that long so I shouldn't be complaining. It's just that I feel like I'm not getting that much subscribers. I know one might say that I should look internally for this, meaning my skills and all..it's just that I tried posting for different sites and looks like in here, I haven't been successful compared to my other sites.

I won't be that much active here that's all I'm saying and I'm thinking of leaving for good but if I've learned anything this past year, that is to not close doors and burn bridges. I already have my chapter 2 uploaded on my webtoons. So I'm still contemplating if I'll do it here as well. So to friends that I made during my stay here. Love you all!

If you are sure you want to leave tapas than I won’t stop you, but if you wanna try and gain some readers here I have advice I am willing to share. Your comic looks good and very interesting but there is some strategy that has nothingto do with “looking internally” that can get more eyes on your comic.
The art might not be at a level of others but it is decent and it reminds me of Yu Yu Hakusho. Basic anime style that goes good with action. So I don’t see why your skills would hold you back. They will naturally improve of course, but i think the lack of readers is more of an exposure issue than a discrimination against your skill.

Congrats I guess!

Although, it takes almost zero effort to post the same content to both website. I'd imagine that any possible exposure to new readers would be a good thing.

I myself, make my comics in hopes that as many people as possible might read and enjoy it, so even though a fan base on one site might be much bigger than the other, those people are still reading and enjoying your work.

But you know what's right for you, so good luck with whatever you decide to do!

Great point Brainslug-san! Actually while typing this, I can't help but feel bad for leaving a sense of 'abandonment' if you will to subscribers that I have here. But yeah I'll do some more thinking but I'll just keep doing what I am doing. Thanks a bunch!

Okay, since it sees nobody else is going to say it. Dumping an entire chapter in a single day and then doing nothing isn't going to gain you subscribers. That being said, you do you, you're the only one who can decide how much effort your comic's worth.

I agree. I'll keep this in mind. Perhaps I didn't know what else to do besides joining forums here, promoted it elsewhere and making my creators page. But I get you. I have to find my pace here to gain subs Thanks again @zigmenthotep-san slight_smile:
