Thanks for the useful advice.

My plans on marketing on webcomic is posting snippets of my comic, character designs, and artwork featuring my character on instagram and twitter. The question when should I start? I should do it asap because I plan to launch it around summer 2020 once I have a big buffer.
As for the buffer, I make 2-3 pages a week and 8-10 page a month.

There is never a thing of advertising yourself too soon, especially with stuff involving social media. If you got the media to put on these platforms, do it. More so if that is the release date you want to start releasing your comic.

The next question you should ask yourself is how many pages you want to upload a week?

Again, it is up to what works well with you and your audience.
There are pros and cons of release too little and too much, so I would suggest 2 pages a week. This gives your comic a chance to slip slightly in the fresh/new released section and lets your readers to start to look forward to the next installment. Plus, if you keep making 2 - 3 pages a week, that 3rd page will bolster your buffer for later.
Of course, this is up to you and you might find more success in releasing 3 times a week or once a week.

I have a question, is it okay to post artworks and worksheet inside a comic?
I have both a serious comic and a fun one, in the fun one I pretty do whatever I want including posting work sheet of my serious comic, my friends find it cool, but as I’m new to this plateform I was wondering if it was okay?

Also, do you have any suggestion about sizes for a comic page? With 940px wide it’s often really pixely for me.

Is it okay to not be really happy with our art style when beginning? I’m always putting myself down because of my monstrous mistake but I want to stay motivated to continue anyway

I had lot more to ask but the forum give me pretty much every answer I need so thank you everyone for your time here giving advices for new members like me ️

Feel free to link your comic too, I’m curious

Whatever you have the copyright to use, you can use it as you fit right for your comic and style.

Then just work with 1880px Or whatever and downsize the image before posting

We all have to start somewhere.
Look at my comic. It is only circles and square.

(Also I like your comics and humour even if it’s square and circle it works really well since you play a lot with the rules it’s really clever)
