It is also important to know that not everyone will have the same experiences with the same platforms.
For me this was the opposite. I have had very minimum interaction with my followers on Tapas, not to mention having far less compared to Webtoons. This comes down to a lot of things, like how long your episodes are, their genre, the mood people are in when viewing your work. Plus a lot of things you cannot control.
For me, Webtoons works so much better for my comic. For @jensrichard77, Tapas works the best. For you @toonben, you might not have success on either platform. Or you might have great success on both. Always try your hand at a platform you want to be a part of and don't worry about the success of others with them. Take note of them (you don't want to be joining a forum that is toxic), but make your own mind up with the interactions you have with said platform. You never know, the platform others have had no success in might be the one that makes you well known
