Hey guys, to cut straight to the chase: I've already been though two versions of my comic, DRGN/DRAGOONS and both have kind of fallen flat on their faces halfway through Chapter 1.
When writing down ideas for stories in it, I realized that even though the characters and world are good, I write best when I have them in an already established "status quo" of sorts. The problem comes in when I try to write a story to establish said status quo. It's either too long, too over the top, doesn't set things up seemingly well enough, or just doesn't work for one reason or another.
I'm not sure I know what to do or where to go with said story and it's really kind of discouraging to me.
What did you guys do when you faced this problem? I know my friend said that she actually wrote Chapter 2 of her comic first and then went back and wrote Chapter 1 to explain how they got there. Do you think that would work for me?
Thanks for the help.
