Sometimes I rewatch episodes of Generator Rex... I made a really obsessive video essay about that show because it really inspired me as a kid. In fact, it's probably because of Generator Rex that I got so into sci-fi and lovecraftian themes.
It holds up amazingly well even now. The more unsettling parts still creep me out as an adult and I still love the characterisation. I tell everybody to watch that show, because it's super under-rated! I'm really glad the series actually got finished, because apparently not many people were watching it due to lack of merchandise or something like that.

Sit down, young ones, while I open up my story book and tell you a tale. Once upon a time cartoon network had "late night black and white" with all these super old cartoons like "Popeye" and cute musicals which could only have been animated by people on heavy hallucinogenics. Some people say some of those cartoons may be from as far back as the 30's! But so few relics exist from that ancient time for us to know for sure. Some people claim to have those old cartoons on VHS... but what good is that to us now? Perhaps someday, we will see those relic cartoons again.

cartoons on bomerang were nice. original Looney toons, the flinstones, the jetsons, tom and jerry and the probably can be found someplace online but its tough trying to locate official sites or at least ones not likely to give viruses

definitely miss getting them at the local blockbuster but theres like one left on the whole earth now

Generator Rex is amazing!, but considering the themes and tone, i think it may have been way more successful if it was aimed at older audiences. Kind of what happened with Gargoyles.
