Just published the Prologue/Teaser for my newest novel series.

This is an urban fantasy about a mage whose career and marriage fell apart. And to top it all off, he’s been the subject of highly unethical human experiments. He was rescued and taken in by a vampire who was looking for her missing father. The two work as mercenaries, private investigators, and whatever other odd jobs come up as they try to make sense of exactly what is going on with the both of their lives.

Chapters 1+2 will be coming in a week, or sooner if I have time to build up my buffer.

Essentially, this is a story of grief and moving forwards after losses. Salvador Hendricks, a mission commander, is driven from a dying Earth into space tries to find solace after the collapse of humanity and his husband's passing. In his missions abroad into the stars he finds himself in a predicament, up against an alien lifeform ...and becoming an unsuspecting father to ten children.

Dream job as a nurse? Check. A house? Check. Adventure? Don't need it. A romantic partner and stable routine? He's working on it. Nurse Finn Flowers has pretty much everything he's ever wanted since he turned 9. Sure, most of his friends are his coworkers, and yeah, he never sees his sister anymore, and maybe he hallucinates the Mothman judging him sometimes. This is what dreams are made of though, right?
