The story follows two brothers,
Evan' Character Flaw:

With the outbreak that occurs (in story), Evan fails to realize his luck may not be the same as it used to be. He has a habit of jumping head first without considering the consequences. This habit has caused problems for his famz in the past (light spoiler: he's a delinquent teen dad). He will complicate future relationships with allies. He puts himself at risk against stronger/ experienced foes. He believes holding back will make him look weak & prefers to die trying than not try at all. Of course there are times when this will work in his favor too.

Bonus:
Owen (younger brother) - he's a sheltered 13 year old who usually takes his parents words as the gospel, he adores Evan too so it does stir inner conflict. The outbreak brings a drastic lifestyle change and Owen is forced to adjust.

Ivan's flaw is his extreme self-obsession and baseless confidence. He believes he is much better than anyone else, to the point it is almost humourous. And has faced it's consequences on more occasions than one.

Shyba's character flaw would be that he is too hard on himself, which causes a lot of issues like him feeling like he's not good enough to experience good things and believing that he causes nothing but trouble.

Kiara's flaw is that she takes things too personally and it causes her to withdraw from others too much. She has a hard time making friends because of this.

I'm gonna do two characters because I'm extra like that.

Elliott is terrified of the unknown, and lets this fear have too much power over their life, and thus they're stuck going about the same rigid routine every day when the novel starts.

Puck is immortal, but has never really matured to the point of not having emotional outbursts from time to time, like you might expect. With that said, being immortal is no picnic, so it's kind of understandable.

Lol understand the genuinely interested part. This isn't a sub for sub thread which is good, and you didn't mention her but always liked the character of Ella from your Monster series despite her very evident flaws
