OK, so I'm new here at Tapas, I'm crap at promoting my Novel, but here I am trying anyway. It's a long slow burn (150k words) so bare with me, but it has some really likable characters and strong world-building. ( I think so anyway! ^^') If I just get one reader to feedback I would die of gratitude!

Yosuke wakes up with no memories in a world where being Enhanced—genetically modified "better" than human—just got cancelled. Clinics are shut down, the new president wants Enhanced kids rounded up, and Yosuke's only refuge is Greenwode Institution, a boarding school where freaks like him try to pass as normal.

Problem is, Yosuke can't figure out what normal even means. His dream job is cutting sale stars at Miller's grocery, he dreams he's cake, and keeps getting bullied for the weird bird-like quirks that made sense in his missing past.

His guides to teenage life aren't helping:
Leon, a drummer burned badly by the last Enhanced guy he got close to, and Erik, a Swedish class president who swears he's nothing like his Regulator father—even as he gets shadier by the day.

Yosuke also discovers he likes both boys in ways that definitely aren't normal. And that feathers burst through his skin when he's excited or miserable, which happens a lot around Leon's stupid-pretty face and Erik's controlling hands.

Then a student turns up dead, and investigating the murder reveals why Yosuke shares a face with the world's most famous pop star—and why what lives inside him is valuable enough to kill for.

Yesterday was Valentine’s day, and after a long time, I published my 5th chapter. February is the month of spring, of blooming, of love (and Lunar new year ) - this is the theme that my story started on. So future chaoters, ready for February, will be in this emotion.

What is my story about?
This story is meant to be filled with allegories, metaphors and hidden messages (since I know that many of you nerds would appreciate it), so be my guest and theorise (even if it were not canon/what I meant, I'd still appreciate any different perspectives of readers). It is also a baihe, so please, if you want to, be my guest and ship anyone you want (tehee). It is also meant to be a xuanhuan (maybe a xianxia) - so yeah, it is meant to have that "Chinese fantasy novel"-vibe.
Here is the synopsis: "Beneath the shade of an ancient pagoda tree, a restless magpie lingers, chasing a life beyond her wings.
