“Why?”
A shrug. “Flirting? I don’t know. Just because she says she’s ready, doesn’t mean she’s interested. Her mate has to make her interested. If he fails, the mating doesn’t happen.”
“That makes sense,” Ash nodded. “A guy can hit on a girl all he wants, but if she’s not interested, he damn well better take ‘no’ for an answer.”
“Or else he loses his tail.”
A pause. “Eeexcuse me?”
“...isn’t just frowned upon or illegal among our people, it’s a literal death sentence. The...will have his tail cut off, either from the flexible joint so he can’t swim and becomes ostracized and helpless to the point where he starves to death or gets eaten, or at the hips where he will be killed immediately.”
“He’ll be cut in half.”
“Exactly.”
Ash stared silently for a moment. “We have prisons full of...like that, and worse. Can we send them to you for proper punishment?”

My newest chapter is up!

Synopsis:
This is supposed to be a standard fairy tale story.

The prince saves the princess from the dragon. They get married and live happily ever after.

But things can never be that easy. For one, the only way to save the princess from the dark dimension is to use magic which August’s father had outlawed in their kingdom. Secondly, the spell to free the princess from her tower was in Lux’s Grimoire which nobody knew the whereabouts of. Thirdly, he can’t solve either of these things without a cheeky pirate.

August just wants to save the princess and start his duties as a prince, but things keep get thrown at him. Warrior fairies, pixie fighting rings, mermaid gangs, elven ancient prophecies, druid arms dealers, and that damned crazy ass pirate!

This is supposed to be a standard fairy tale story!!! Why are things going like this?

Hello!
If anyone is interested in reading about an omegaverse of a 30 year old omega who discovers he's a wizard and this happens in front of the most prominent, desirable alpha in the country, right after nearly punching said alpha in the face?
Through this newfound discovery, he is taken to a place called the 'Academy' where alphas are trained to be hunters. He then stumbles upon a world full of dungeons, monsters (previously believed to simply be of legend), class manifestations tied to emotions, houses carved into trees, wizards, mana, magic, prejudice, and love.
