Natsu nodded. He pointed to each part in turn as he described them. âThe Mortal Realm, the barrier, the Veil, Heavenly Realms, and the Realms of Hell.â
Toji nodded. âIt took me a very long time to realize just how everything worked. Weâve said it a million times, you canât put logic to magic, thereâs no point. It will defy it every single time. Hereâs what I can say with absolute certainty. The reality weâve known no longer exists. We destroyed it when we destroyed the barrier.â He touched the shell that covered the orb, cracks forming instantly as it broke apart, several parts shattering altogether.
He touched the rings that represented the two Divine Realms. âYnda used bubbles to illustrate how everything flowed together, but it wasnât quite right. What should be more accurate is water.â He twisted his hands around the orb, the rings spinning to his command. âIt bends, flows, twists, joins, and separates. It connects and disconnects, grows and shrinks. It moves fast, it runs slow. That Disney song had it right; you never step in the same river twice.â
