Hi, everyone! This post is specifically to help out beginning webtoon/webcomic creators, like myself, and veteran creators are welcome to jump in and provide us with some info if they would be so gracious as to oblige us. We'd really appreciate it! As many of you fellow artists know today was the LightBox Expo...there were lots of great artist panels, LIVE tutorials, demos, and you got to talk to fellow artists in Discord and pick their brains.
As a New Webtoon/Webcomic creator I wondered where people found their reference photos for character poses and battle stances. Do you know of any great sites where you can get these photos for free? Here's one I learned about today. I hope this helps you all too! https://www.deviantart.com/senshistock/gallery
For character creation ideas I learned about this - https://characterdesignreferences.com/visual-library
LightBox Expo continues tomorrow and Sunday...! Look for the videos on YouTube too.
PS-Forgot to add I learned about a new app called "Comic Draw" which is free for ipad. I plan to get the desktop version, myself. But you can drag text and boom, it creates flawless text bubbles with that text everyone uses! Your comic will look very professional if you use this tool!
Cheers!
