Hello, I wanna do a webtoon for the webcomics app but idk the size of the canvas needed for the contribution? If someone know, please help me!!!

my advice would be NOT to post on webcomicsapp cause apparently, they take away your adapting/merch rights

The width has to be minimum 1080px and the length can be as long as you want because they will slice the images for you

That is not true, I just read their Terms of Service, it explicitly says that they (WebComicsApp) need the creator's consent for both merchandising and adaptation.

If you were offered merch/adaptation of your comic and you signed an exclusivity agreement with them then later complained about it, why did you sign the exclusivity agreement?

That's not true. And you can always negotiate your contract if you ever have problems with it at a later point. (speaking as a non-exclusive contributer)

Before you go after, @BobbyjoeXforgotensb all heavy handed...

Their current terms of service is NOT reflective of the policies they tried to enact on a group of creators awhile back. The fact they've altered it is a sign of realization that what they were trying to do at the time wasn't feasible.

i wasn't going after them. this is just something that doesn't align with what's in my contract.

yeah i never got a response after applying 5 times but i let it go when my one friend fled the site, along with others, possibly the reason they went backwards on it. i worded it wrong, the term supposedly said that they had the right to make ANYTHING with your IP and you wouldn't see a single cent from it

Hey does anyone have any idea how much the pay ( or estimate ) is for exclusive contracts on WebComics compared to webtoons? What I know is webtoons is livable enough but for WebComics i don't have a clue? And is their ad revenue for the their non exclusive specifically better than webtoons or tapas?
(Livable depends on location)
