Hero stepped back, as did Hawk. The rest on the platform didn’t need to be told; they also gave Toji a wide berth.
Toji stood there a moment, his core spinning wildly as he processed this new piece of information. “You were going to let everyone die,” he growled. “My people, my friends, my family…” He turned his blazing mismatched eyes to the prisoner at his feet. “My soulmate. For what, Uriel? So you can rebuild a paradise filled with a newer, more worthy form of creature?”
He reached behind him, his fingers curling around the hilt of the massive sword. The lengths of cloth automatically unwound, flying away, exposing the giant black blade, the demon energy swirling through the material like water. He pulled it from his back, holding it out to the side as everyone in the Hall gasped in fear, several of them trying to get higher up. Shouts of “Sword of Obliteration!” “The Devil’s Curse!” and even “The Black Death!” could be heard everywhere. Even God and those that surrounded him stood up quickly, knocking back their seats, cursing as their eyes landed on the reviled weapon in Toji’s hand.
Uriel’s breath became short, his face losing all blood, his eyes wide with fear. “No,” he begged softly. “Majesty, I beg you, not like this. Please don’t kill me this way!”
Toji snorted. “Who the ... are you calling Majesty? I’m not a King.” He stood directly behind the angel. “I’m the Devil God.”
!!New Chapter Drop!!

The Divine are less than thrilled to see Toji again after fifty years, especially after he makes some serious allegations. A traitor gets his just reward, and the greatest enemy of them all finally receives justice.
