What and who would you like to see in a hypothetical TAPAS crossover game?

You can always use Blue form Blue Life as a model on a sign or some tutorial thing.

Ok, cool. I was actually thinking he'd be something like Mr. Game and Watch in the story. Just the random completely 2D oddity in the world who'd use comedic random attacks in battle.

Ah, that's okay then. Mr. Game and Watch is one of my favorite Smash Bros characters and the image of Blue in a similar manner made me chuckle. (Maybe the Red Mob could show up as enemies in the story or something. )

But red does... Everything that Blue doesn’t. But he is only a side character to support Blues peaceful ways.

Makes sense. If I were to make the RPG beyond the story and ideas I was planning, I'd probably have Blue cameo in random places as a recessing joke. (Like on a sign, or as a toy on a shelf, etc.)

Yeah, got a bunch of other projects on my plate as well. Might just write a story and a game design document for it for fun and keep it in my back pocket in case I ever do decided to make it.

(Also, it would definitely be released for free if I ever did make it.)

If you ever do make it, you'll need to go get permission from everyone again at that time as what they have rights to may have changed. For example, I understand Webtoons featured comics can't publish anything from their featured comic outside of Webtoons until 3 years AFTER the comic has ended. Which means even if it was for free, Webtoons would have the right to come after you for using something they had the rights to.

Just something to keep in mind.

if you won't have time to do this for a while after you're done with the script, do you think after we've got a few people working on this that those of us who have time to do this could start woking on it with the script you've made? the characters of the people who agreed to be part of it could already have theirs in it, but if you haven't heard back from the others you've asked you could just insert them later when you've gotten their permission. it's just a suggestion

Yeah, probably. I'm currently working on the story treatment and hypothetical gameplay mechanics right now in Game Design Document. (And even then, if the game falls through. We could still probably adapt it as a comic or something. )

@alliascompany Neat, thanks. I actually had the idea of the Seasons replacing the Dragoons as the chosen elemental knights of the land of the Dragoons are forced to split up after being framed for a murder.

well I always wanted to see a game with my characters in it and I feel like another comic would just be too similar to the other collaboration projects

Yeah, you're probably also right on that front. (I'll finish up the GDD in my spare time and see where that goes from there.)
