Yes, I do remember feeling cliffhanged at the end of the last episode. "That's it?" kind of thing. I agree with you in that the "mysteries" are mostly there to explore character.

But I remember the Youtube vids, explaining the small character actions and cinematographic choices as things and indicators of a character's state and development but I guess not everyone will be keen to catch on something so subtle like that.

I was keen as well. Since the mysteries weren't giving me anything to concentrate on, I was literally ready with a microscope to rip apart everything, "not a clue shall pass". Turned out the entire anime was a mystery for the viewer to uncover and see what subtleties Kyoto Animation put into it.

I really really wanted to read the light novel. Sadly, I can't buy them from where I live and couldn't get any arrrgh either. If anyone knows any sites where I can read light novels in English, pls let me know.

I finished watching Beastars more than a week ago, and it was good! I gotta admit that I was not too keen on watching it at first because of non-human characters (just used to seeing people so it was kind of different). Also, sub will always have a better advantage over dub ( Japanese VAs apparently did a bit of stage acting when recording the lines and the dub was done traditionally) Maybe because I'm not a native English speaker but the dub was good(Jonah Scott was what pulled me in).
The story veers a bit mature at times, but the MC is someone I rarely see as a main character. So relatable too.

I'm currently watching Bungou Stray Dogs! I've just reached S3 some time ago, and I am currently in S3's EP7! I have a veryyyy long watchlist though, so after I finish this anime, I'd probably be watching another one from my list! In my opinion, this anime is really great! I'm not quite sure if it would get a S4 though... but yeah!

I saw the news yesterday or the day before. But the Attack on Titan has ended it's 11 year serialization!

Fingers crossed for MAPPA to pull through the anime adaptation properly doing justice to Hajime Isayama's masterpiece.

Also, I'm an anime-only viewer of AOT and I plan to store up this final season and watch it all at once the day it ends.....which should be around March 22.
