What are the things that make you love art?

What are the specific things you like about art, themes you care about, and the steps of the creative process you enjoy doing the most ?

I love bringing an idea to life. I love simply just rendering a subject and making it perfect( in my mind anyway). I love going back and looking at a work and being wowed that I somehow created it.

I always loved art since I was a little kid,
All kinds of art and all genres.
There are 2 genre that I love the most and that´s
rock´n´roll and comics because I can express myself
the best in those genre + I´m emotionally connected to the genres.

There are some things that I love the most about art and that´s creation, communication and
emotional connection. I don´t think the part with the emotional connection can be explained
with words, it´s like trying to explain why you love a person.

Creating something which means something to another person is one of the best parts
of making art. I once had a date with a woman, we were sitting in a restaurant. They played
a song of my band on the radio. She didn´t know that I was in the band. She said "Oh, I love
that song, it always helps me getting through the day". I didn´t tell her that I was in the band,
I said something like "Yeah, I love it too". But that meant a lot to me.

One step that I love the most in making comics is the sketching part, it´s the most exciting for me

Art is the closest thing that exists to a universal language. I'm not always the best person at communicating in-person with people; I have poor instincts for when to talk, or what's an appropriate tone, so people often don't really understand how I really feel, but when I draw, I can create things people connect with emotionally.

It's also just... this wonderfully complex technical field with so much to learn. There's so much applied science in good art, around understanding anatomy, volume, mass, the interaction of light and materials or atmospheric effects, psychology and how humans interact with compositions or draw subconsciously on cultural ideas. It's something you can study and improve at over your whole life, and there's always a style or medium you've never tried before that you can dip a toe into, so it never gets boring. Everyone's artistic voice is a little different, so you can enjoy not only making your own stuff, but appreciate the brilliance and ingenuity of others too and build friendships on that.
