I love October me. You can start lighting candles again and enjoy a little bit o' darkness with numerous horror stories an' art pieces making their rounds, but...

What are you doing in October 2020? Participating in Inktober or something similar? Updating your horror story/comic more? Or creating something special horror/Halloween themed?

I personally am doing a horror poetry collection consisting of 31 poems with a little short story surprise at the end:

I've a knack for the horror genre, and Gothic poetry has always been very close to me heart, and so if there's time to share such gloom poetry that'd be it, yeah?

Right now, I'm spending the next year or so scripting/editing/and polishing my comic story, in the meantime I'm also teaching myself to draw. So an idea I had is to try to do a quick "spooky" drawing of my characters/environments each day. My problem is it took me about 4 hours to get this far from scratch on this drawing I did this week and I would prefer to try an finish something each day.

But maybe instead I could simply sketch, and maybe get to lineart on these things and pick one from the week to color. Idk, any ideas, I work full-time so unfortunately I can't just doodle all day, on top of that I'm in the scripting phase as well.

That being said, I'll have to check out your series of short stories! Spooky stuff is my favorite!

As inktober is pretty much cancelled, I am thankful I did my own prompt list before hand and posted the first prompt today. Other than that I'll also participate in Blacktober and just do the artwork for my novel.

Nice, good for you! Taking such a challenge will most definitely improve your speed an' drawing skills! Also, I luv your idea of making your characters fit to a specific theme! Best of luck to you and tyvm!

Who doesn't love hallows eve,

I am working on something at the moment but it might take a while as I'm still working on the script and character designs.

All I can say is that it's basically Blackmirror with the over the topic tone of Goosebumps.

I do however plan on posting a halloween gag based comic on October 31st, right, about...there.

See if you can guess which game this is a parody of.

I'm working on a Halloween special for my webcomic, and I'm part of a virtual artist alley that's on Halloween (Ghost Con!). I'm juggling pieces for the con and my comic, but it's a ton of fun!

I am feeling really inspired this month but at the same time have no motivation at the moment. I am hoping to do a couple draw this in your style events I have seen and then just creating some spooky stuff for myself as well! My birthday is on the 15th so I am super excited!

Hello!

I am doing kinktober this year and below I've provided the info for my first light novel that is Halloween themed and involves my original characters in an alternate universe

Title: Divine Punishment
Genre: BL, Supernatural, light novel
Summary: A vampire who likes when people watch. An angel who delights in punishing those who have sinned. When these two beings meet, who will prove to be the superior being? Or will they both succumb to their desires?

Halloween is my time, when my love for all things horror is finally social acceptable. You can smell the fear and taste all the pumpkin shaped candy. Ah there is no better time to be alive or well resurrected.
Right now I have three spooky projects in the works.

The first is actually scheduled to finish tomorrow when the last chapter drops. Its a cosmic horror crossover of Lovecraft and Frankenstein set in Arkham Ma. So if your looking for a horror binge check it out.

The sequel will drop on Oct. 17th so if you liked the first check out the second.

The third is a collection of short stories based on the adventures of my main characters and their lesser known counterparts. Its best enjoyed with the main series but can be read independently.
