Tokyo Ghoul:re OST - Mvt. 11 "Memories"
Most of the well known songs from Tokyo Ghoul's first two seasons typically made it onto the last 2, so I never really took the time to listen to the OST from re. A lot of the songs there are either reimaginings of the original music or they're some featured song with vocals and lyrics.. but then you get the few OST tracks that are completely new. Memories is one of those new songs, and man.. it's so good.

Prong is quickly becoming an all time favorite of mine. Right up there with Overkill, Testament, and Megadeth. The riff writing is just phenomenal. Chunky and groovy, it's like getting punched in the gut repeatedly...but in a cool way XD

Jeff Waters is one of my guitar idols. Dude is a monster at both rhythm and lead. I've yet to see Annihilator live, and they're on my bucket list of bands I have to see.

The...recording quality...is abysmal. But there's some solid riffing to be found here.

I love diving deep into Spotify and finding these gems.

i've linked this movie before. i came home one night from work super late a couple of years ago to this odd movie on TCM at this part and ended up staying to watch the entire thing. this song just kept my attention and grabbed me. (the actor that played pheeny helped too probably lol) i ended up buying the dvd of the movie later that week to see the entire thing

My new favorite Dragonforce song. It's got a perfect 80s Arena Rock vibe in addition to the signature Power Metal DF is known for. It's so cheesy and epic my brain can't process it XD
